1. General Provisions
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the Lord of the Steps mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the App. Developer: Ainur Khakimov. Contact email: ainr.khakimov@gmail.com
2. Service Description
The App is a fantasy pedometer that turns everyday walking into a virtual journey along a ~2,350 km route. The App counts steps via Health Connect (Android) or HealthKit (iOS), displays progress along the route, and allows users to create groups and participate in challenges.
3. Registration and Account
To use the App, you must register via Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining access to your account. Each user may have only one account. You can delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, all data is permanently removed.
4. Rules of Use
When using the App, you must not: • Intentionally falsify step data (cheating) • Use automated tools to inflate step counts • Post offensive content in group or challenge names • Violate the rights of other users • Attempt unauthorized access to the service Violation of these rules may result in account suspension.
5. Groups and Challenges
Users can create groups and invite members by code. The group creator serves as its administrator. Challenge content and group names must not contain offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content. The developer reserves the right to remove groups and challenges that violate these rules.
6. Health and Liability
The App is NOT a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Step data is for informational purposes only and may be inaccurate. Do not make health decisions based on App data. Consult a physician before starting any physical activity program. The developer is not liable for any health-related damages.
7. Intellectual Property
The name "Lord of the Steps" is an original wordplay and is not a trademark of the Tolkien Estate or Warner Bros. All App materials (design, text, images, code) belong to the developer unless otherwise stated. Use of App materials without the developer's consent is prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is". The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted service. The developer is not liable for: • Loss of step data • Service interruptions • Actions of third parties • Inaccuracy of step counts • Damages related to the use of the App
9. Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers free and paid plans. Pricing and terms for paid plans are listed in the App and on the website. Payments are processed via YooKassa or in-app purchases through App Store / Google Play. Refund terms are determined by the respective payment platform. The developer may change prices and plan terms with prior notice to users.
10. Changes to Terms
The developer may modify these Terms. Users will be notified of significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. The current version is always available at: lord-of-the-steps.ru/terms
